Vo Thi Sau
Vo Thi Sau was born in 1933, in Pho’c Long Tho, Vietnam.
With many of her friends and relatives who joined the anti-French resistance in 1948, Sau joined too. She became a contact for a local guerilla group. When Sau was fourteen she threw a grenade and killed the French Captain and wounded 12 French soldiers. Late in the 1949 another grenade was thrown at the Conton chief but it failed to explode. Sau was caught by the French authorities and was imprisoned for three jail years. Finally, she was incarcerated in Con Son prison where she was executed at 19 yrs of age.
Vo Thi Sau died in March 13th 1952 in Con Dao prison Vietnam.
