Hydraulic lifting Jack (made out of popsicles)

Materials

  • Hot dog sticks or Ice block sticks
  • 1 copper wire
  • one pack of blue tack
  • Image result for hydraulic lifting made of popsicle sticks going upa bunch of aluminum wire
  • syringe 2
  • 1 plastic long tube
  • sellotape
  • cardboard box
  • paper clips
  • hammer
  • nail
  • 1 needle
  • skewers or toothpicks
  • scissors

Method
First of all we poked holes in the hotdog sticks in the middle and the sides at the end.

Then we used a nail and hammer to make the hole because it was a lot more easier to poke through the sticks.

Next we connected the hotdog sticks by using copper wire and pushing the copper wire through the middle and tighten it up.

We then sellotape the tips at the sides of hotdog sticks. This is because when we hammer a hole at the ends of the hot-dog sticks, it always crack.

After, We poked the through the sellotape using a needle so that it was clear to poke through.
Then we attached two of the connected sticks to make the half of the elevator. You do the same to the other side.

Later we joined the sticks together with a skewer. We broke the skewer in half because it was too long.

With the skewers in half, we sharpened the ends with a pocket knife.

After that, we stuck the skewers in the bottom of the two sticks. We also used Blu Tack because it wouldn't stop shifting. Then it worked out pretty good.
