Saint Therese

Hi my name is Saint Therese I first Believed in God when my father talked about him and how everything is made perfectly for the world.
Then I had the feeling that I started to love God and became a nun that does little things in little ways and his precious little flower one and only in the world.

The beauty and the beast.

Beauty and the Beast
Christ the King School went to the Manukau Vodafone Centre to see the production of “Beauty and the Beast”.
We were very enthusiastic. When we went to the theatre it was dark. Then we sat down on our seats. Just then there was an introduction for Beauty and the Beast. We waited for what seem like an hour and a half. Then it was show time.

The students were from Sancta Maria College. As the introduction started there was Belle {or Beauty} walking along with her book. It was a loud brass of music and singing with their splendid voices. It was like they would break the whole theatre. Then there was a boy that had clear red sleeve and titered belt around his waist.
His name was guston who he like Belle and three of these show off girls like him.
At the middle there was howling when the beast was struck by the sunlight and was a bad leader that Guston brought with him so that Belle can be his wife.
It was really shocking when a sudden a loud pink explosion popped out it was more likely a bomb and at the end there was something that was romantic they did, they had a kiss.

Rap-punzle

On the twelfth of November 2014 our school Christ the King went down to the hall and watched a show called Rapunzel. It was performed by the N.Z playhouse actors. When  we first went into the hall we were all settled down waiting for the actors to appear and I got a fright when the first character popped up and guess what? It was pinocchio. I was fascinated by how he had so much life in him and how his nose grew long and I wondered how he made it that way?

I liked how Rapunzel wound her hair around her head It would take for ages to wind it around like that, her hair was like a cone. It was hilarious when this cow, Simon Cow was a judge. He was nasty to the people that were performing.

What a day  we had with so much humour. I laughed alot. The actors were amusing. It was great drama. It was perfect when they were rapping we “clicked” and “clapped” to the beat of the rap. I think the Rap-punzel show  is suitable for both kids and adults because it  made this school laugh and  feel happy.

Mary Mackillop centre moment in time.

Mary Mackillop centre

As we go up stairs we see a lot of photos of  schools back in the old days.   I look around the photos and I think wonder whether   this  is someone  else’s school   or is  it  my school. The school is made of   brick. It looks so different to the school  I go to today.  I hear Mrs.  Cochrane say, “ That’s our school”. I look at the photo closely and compare it with the school I go to now.  The courts and the classes all look so different. We can see the skytower from  my classroom but not in this photo  I am sure it wasn’t built that time.  I wonder if the students that  come to my school have relatives that went to the old school.
